About Us

To carry forward the glorious history of Bihar, to make Bihar economically prosperous, educated and self-reliant, formed The Bihar Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. with the objective of building a cooperative society on the principle of  “ all for one, one for all ” . The Bihar Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. was established on 22 March 2011 on the occasion of the foundation day of Bihar state. It is a democratic organization. Its management system is operated by the members elected by the Bihar State Election Authority. The Bihar Co-operative works to make its members self-reliant by thrift, saving habit and funding them according to their needs. Bihar Co-operative has an action plan for education, training, healthcare, housing facilities and self-employment for its members. Takes responsibility of enriching the members. Bihar Co-operative will actively cooperate with other co-operative institutions at local, national and international level in every practical manner to best serve the interests of its members so that the achievement of their goal related to unity of work by co-operatives across the world. Bihar Co-Operative is taking strong participation in the efforts of the government in the development of Bihar and in strengthening the cooperative movement.
